Students at the Jesuit Middle School of Omaha (JMSO) were recognized for achievements during the fourth quarter at the year-end awards ceremony on Thursday, May 21. Sixteen students were on academic honor roll and 29 students were on citizenship honor roll. Academic recognition requires the young men to have A’s and B’s in every subject. Citizenship honor roll recognizes the young men who receive 10 or fewer ‘yellow cards’ during the semester. Yellow cards are similar to a demerit system followed at many parochial schools.
